This Sunday we spent the afternoon at the Linvilla Orchard for our family's first visit. Let's just say that this version of Halloween on the farm was quite a departure from the Selinsgrove pumpkin patches and hayrides. For those of you not familiar, Linvilla is the suburbs answer to a Halloween farm experience. We went with the Ropers and Caspers, our friends from our old neighborhood. Audrey had a blast playing in the big boxes of pumpkins and watching Jenna get lost in the hay maze and sling shot apples, A pet the white tail deer, and ran around on the playground with Dada. We had crazy snacks - frozen chocolate dipped bananas with sprinkles.
We love going to Linvilla! I've been itching to get out there and buy my pumpkins. I may do it on Thursday, and bring them to Ladies Night Out at Notre Dame de Lourdes in Swarthmore.
